Approach & Scope
Criteria for Engagement
Engagements are considered on a limited, case-by-case basis. Fit is determined by scope, timeline, and the nature of the deliverable.
When Engagement is a Fit
-
High-stakes academic or institutional writing
-
Projects requiring strategic framing and ethical clarity
-
Clients seeking substantive collaboration, not surface editing
-
Timelines that allow for iterative, reflective work
Boundaries of the Engagement
-
Engagements are selective and case-by-case
-
Scope is defined collaboratively at the outset
-
Work emphasizes strategy, structure, and voice
-
I do not provide ghostwriting or last-minute crisis editing
How Engagements Work
Engagements begin with a brief inquiry and are considered on a case-by-case basis to assess scope, timing, and alignment. When appropriate, this is followed by a short consultation to clarify goals and expectations. All work proceeds within a clearly defined scope and timeline, established prior to the start of an engagement.
Inquiry
Initial overview of goals, materials, and constraints.

Consultation

Mutual assessment of fit, scope, and timeline.
Engagement
Defined deliverables and working plan confirmed.
